The smallball emphasis has been one of the main storylines of the past few weeks. Southern got two points total from its posts today and won. There are pros and cons to the smaller lineups (with rebounding being the biggest drawback) but Mullins seems to prefer those looks of late. I like D’Amico getting more time but not sure how sustainable it is to de-emphasize the bigs to this extent.

@salukifan32 sorry thought this was a message board where opinions are out in full force. However, if you want to compare coaching resumes we can do that.  Never claimed to be a D-1 coach.  But if D1 coaching is a requirement for the board…I’d say shut it down then.

In the words of that great American, Rodney King, "Can't we all just get along?"

Didn't post this earlier but Rodney Watson interviewed Dalton Banks before the game, Banks is always a good interview:

There's a whole thread on Player Discussions. To be critical in this thread of a guy that just had an excellent game, scored 24 pts and helped you win a road game but wasn't quite perfect is ... just go back under your bridge and wait for billy goat gruff!!

Got in from Terrible Haute.

I can tell you that you can be very proud of the Dawg Pound kids.

They were very vocal and represented us well.

At times they were louder than the home fans.

I just went and gave more money to help whatever is next.  You should do the same even if it's just $20.

Thanks barkeep and 69 for putting a spotlight on this!

My post was relevant to the game. LJ had a great game.  He just had a poor last 10 seconds. He made a bad foul, after his two missed FTs….the only way InSU has a chance to win was by putting them on the line. That can cost you against good teams. Everything gets magnified at the end of the game. I would say the coaching staff had a talk to him about this situation as well….even though he scored 25 pts and only had 2 tos.

done. just made an additional drop. it seemed they were loud on TV but good to hear from someone who was there.  this is going to be a big part of helping a rebuild. i did a lot of road games as a student but there was never anything done to help organize a group.  this is really great.

Craving a McBride Special!
