Welp, one more loss next Thursday (heck, maybe even Friday if we're lucky), and we can put this forgettable season to bed.
It's a good thing we've got a decent SIU baseball crew to keep us distracted for a while, as softball's in a world of hurt with a substantial drop in pitching compared to last year.
Baseball was up 4-2 to BG but now down 5-4 in the 6th. Softball down 2-0 in the 1st to Purdue.

I’ll be at Arch Madness bus simply because I love the Valley. Always a lot of fun. But this will be the first time I go with probably no emotion to SIU losing. Just an expected result at this point.
SIU may well win Thursday. Or they may get drilled again. Who knows?

We got down 27-14 with 7:35 in the 1st and then nearly blew it at the end because they couldn't get the ball in-bounds. Was a win that didn't feel good at all.
Is there an illness going through the team? They seemed really sluggish.
They got into the paint well, especially early, but missed so many bunnies. Then they were horrendous at the line. Can't expect to shoot threes like we did last game, but we're better than we shot today. Just an average shooting game in those three areas and any life at all on defense, and it's a close game.
