Not a good way to end the half. Simply put, way too many turnovers, not enough presence down low. I thought Domask and Coupet looked really good. Banks, Muila and D'Avanzo looked a bit shaky (to me). Jones just needs to settle down. Step back 3 from beyond NBA range and multiple TO's are frustrating, but at the same time his smooth stoke and ridiculous speed is something we need on the floor as much as possible.

First game is always going to be sloppy. Think this group has a chance to be really good. One thing that could hold us back, Lance Jones is not a point guard. Need someone to step up there

SIU outshot Little Rock 56% to 41% yet came out of it with just a 3 point lead. Definitely nervous about this one now after they looked like they had this game in control.

We've held them to 42% from the field, nothing wrong with that. Hard to defend off turnovers. We stop giving them the ball in transition and they can't score
Also if I have to watch this casino commercial one more time I am driving to Little Rock and punching that fake cowboy in the face.

Domask is back and looks good. Coupet definitely needs to be starting in place of Verplancken right now. Muila really got an earfull from Mullins, so he must have missed an assignment. Jones need to play under control. Filewich needs to stay in the game and we need to make adjustment to counteract their double and triple teams. Lastly, these refs suck!!!!
What a great first 10 minutes and what a lackluster second 10. Too many unforced turnovers and no inside presence. Coupet looks good. Not impressed with Verplancken, Muila, or Banks. Harvey's defense looks improved. He and D'Avanzo could be a factor in the second half, if UALR focuses on Domask & Jones.
