And that's game
That'll do it. Less angry with that 2nd half but not sure this game tells me anything different about this team because they seem to play the same game against everyone whether it's Loyola, Bradley, etc. Scoring droughts, bad starts, team fights and gives it their all and fall just short.
It feels like Brown has turned the ball over more in his limited games this season than the entirety of last season.
I’m so sick of losing close games. Just get blown out.
And that's game
fold.
Craving a McBride Special!

I wouldn't call last game close, nor would I this one.....although I will admit that they played better than what the margin will be.
Insert praising comment toward a high school team here____
They played hard
They gave it their all.
Ugh. Put a fu**ng bullet in this season already.
that was not an intentional foul

This one they got down to like 1 with 4:00 or so left. I'd say this was close. But Loyola also went 8:00 without a field goal and are gonna win by 12
If the Selection Committee chose teams based solely on "learning experiences", the Salukis would have a Top 4 seed.
Get close, have a shot... and then fade away in the end. Rinse, lather, repeat.
As I mentioned a week ago... this team's good enough to make the MVC semifinals in St. Louis, but that's gonna be it, as they just can't score.
Loyola Chicago 59
SIU 47
Final
Coupet leads SIU with 14. Domask with 13 rebounds and 6 points.
First game of the year set the tone. I didn’t want to believe it then because I, perhaps foolishly, had higher expectations, but the record reflects exactly what this team is. Same story game-in and game-out.
--Insert something witty here--
Didn’t realize Marcus only had 6 points. Wow.
Opposing teams know to put all the pressure on him because nobody else can score other than Jones.
Going to torture myself by listening to the same old BS on the postgame show.
Im a glutton for punishment
Just not good enough players. Talent isn’t there. It’s painful.
I know I said they’d be 3-6 going into the weekend, but I’m still puzzled this team might just finish 6-12 or 7-11. That’s just not good enough.
This absolutely sucks. Oh well!
