Northern Iowa has no shot at an at large bid thanks for 2 straight losses in the MVC. They are currently not even in the "next 8 out" in any bracketology I've seen.

Lost their poise badly here. A shame after playing some very good ball. The flow changed sharply when Benson went out with his third foul.
I turned it off with 8+minutes left. By that point the officiating made the favored result all too clear.

Don't mind the loss, hate the sloppy play and missed free throws. So sad to see at this point in the season.
Not to mention just getting manhandled in the paint. We are the worst rebounders in the MVC.

Need to get stronger missed to many 50 50 balls and to many turnovers when UNI slapped the ball things that can corrected but I am more hopeful at this point in the season than the last 8 years
Unfortunately, or perhaps fortunately, I was not able to watch bc I don't get ESPNU. What is the point of paying for ESPN+ if it doesn't include ALL of the ESPN channels? Anyway, I'm not sure what to make of your comment, but I assume it's that Trent didn't play well overall and continued to struggle on the offensive side specifically. It's a real shame. As I said, despite how much I like this kid, if he doesn't step it up next season, he'll be riding the bench as there are going to be a lot of players who can step up then

I wouldn't be surprised. Yet, Indiana has a NET in the mid-50s and is being projected an 11-seed. Sheesh.
