Well F%#k!

Cade time has arrived. As we say occasionally, you can never have enough big guys...

nope dont blow an entire year on being a 6 week fill in.  We will be fine

It depends on if Muila is close but if Muila and Ebube are both out 6-8 weeks or longer, you're looking at another .500 season.  If Rupert gets in foul trouble, you're down to D'Amico and Domask guarding bigs.  And 8 weeks would be missing at least 4 conference games at that point.

Yeah, not a popular opinion here but I feel Troy is more of a fill in guy that can play almost any position okay,  but I don't see him ever being an ALL MVC guy.  Isn't a dominant shooter, defender, inside, outside, etc player... more of a jack of all trades but a master of none.  Again, IMO.

Mullins said in his interview with Reese that it was not for sure that Hornecker would redshirt because he had improved a lot in the last two months.

Having a short bench, it is even MORE important to not have too many TO's and must make their FT's, especially the GUARDS !!!!!!!!!

Yeah before the Ebube news, I thought it sounded like he might be wavering on it.  I think it all comes down to Muila.  I wouldn't burn it if Muila was close.  But if Muila and Ebube are on the same timeline, they need to heavily consider it.

So Troy didn't like what I had to say and starts off with 5pts.  LOL

5-2 Salukis at the first media timeout, D'Amico has all 5 points.  SIU is doing a good job spreading their offense out and making the Oklahoma State bigs guard the perimeter.  Hopefully this leads to Jones/Domask driving to the rim at some point.

Oklahoma State brought out the Tune Squad jerseys. Nice of all 50 of their fans to show up.

Saluki Insider? I barely know her!

With the injury to Ebube, the fact that Cade isn't guaranteed to play immediately tells me that the staff isn't positive he is ready to play at THIS time.

This team really moves the ball well compared to last year though.  Lot of open shots.  SIU has to hope Oklahoma State continues to struggle with their inside offensive game.  The Cisse guy is being guarded by Domask and Trent Brown right now and he's still missing.

It could be that OSU’s defense is just that bad, but this offense appears much less cumbersome than previous years.

Having a TRUE pass first PG makes a HUGE difference.  If SIU was making their shots, XJ would have 3-4 assists already
