69, I equate majestic things with things most people won't forget. Is there anyone on this board who will not remember Muila's free throw shot for the rest of their life? That's a word I never thought I would ever associate with a Muila FT. 🤣In its own way, it's almost majestic. 😀Mula is absolutely the worst free throw shooter I have ever seen
It’s not for children’s eyes. That’s for sure.
@kyle_saluki_17 it's unorthodox looking but he's not flipping the bird while he shoots or anything
@beadmedaddio I honestly think Ebube is capable of playing just as good D as Muila - he hasn't been hacking guys in his limited minutes and he's a big, big body down low
My interest and excitement in this year’s team immediately goes up when Scottie Ebube comes in the game.
He is going to be a stud. Even when he fails it is considerably more entertaining than what we are used to seeing at this school.

They’re the ones that can get us where we haven’t been in 15 years.
In recent history yes, i saw same damn good post players dress for the Dawgs in the 90s and 2000s.@beadmedaddio I honestly think Ebube is capable of playing just as good D as Muila - he hasn't been hacking guys in his limited minutes and he's a big, big body down low

Ebube and Hornecker should be a lot of fun next year, fingers crossed they both stay healthy

Ebube maybe. I can't see Hornecker having that much of an impact if he's not getting in garbage time this year barring a great offseason.
and stay out of the transfer portalEbube and Hornecker should be a lot of fun next year, fingers crossed they both stay healthy
I'm not sayin' -- I'm just sayin'!
This was a big and needed win. I can’t even imagine the upcoming Bradley sellout if we had lost 4 of 5 coming into it.
Sunday should be a lot of fun.

Just got back from the game, with a lot less voice left. I love going to the SIU games at Valpo. $10 for 3rd row seats, right behind SIU bench. You see so much more live than on TV. For example, Ebube was mauled on the one play with no foul, which resulted in a Technical. I also noticed that while impactful, he did look lost at times, including on offense when he wasn't sure if he should be setting a pick or ??? FTR, he already looks in better shape now than just a few weeks ago ! Banks had a really nice bounce back game after struggling for the last few weeks. Domask didn't score a lot but he was really looking to get the ball to his teammates. Nice gameplan getting the ball inside to Rupert early and often. I was hoping it would has also resulted in fouls on Krieke, but alas. XJ has been eerily quiet as of late. And lastly, this was one of the worst game of Lance's career in my opinion, but despite the shooting woes, he STILL hits a HUGE 3 and helped the team win. I know I sound like a broken record, but if Lance had hit his shots tonight, we likely win big. SIU goes as he goes so we had better hope he has a hot MVC tournament bc if he does, anything can happen.
GO DAWGS !!!!!!!!!!!!!
if the bobber was coaching against the salukis, as soon as mulia stepped on the court i would go the the end of my bench, grab my worst sub, put him in the game and tell him to go foul JD every time he touched the ball. when he fouls out, i would grab the next scrub. i wouldn't worry about the early bonus. think of how many empty possessions you would get. no domask or lance shots. i would make it all JD, all the time yeah, JD he might make 1 of the 3 on occasion, but that would be rare.
i again compliment him on his defense, his hustle, his effort, and everything else. glad he is a saluki. but why this can't get improved after all this time is ridiculous, and it damn near bit us tonight in a game we had to have.
Also attended this one. Had to get this win, and they did. I will say it would have been a sickening loss if they let it get away, considering how ice-cold Valpo was for the entire first half.
As others have said, credit to Banks for a nice lift off the bench. And I thought an underrated, key play was the D’Amico three-point play on a scrappy effort in the paint.
Valpo’s crowd was pathetic btw, which also can make a difference in close games.
On to Mardi Gras ….
not impressed by a single thing other than brian rightfully arguing the garbage calling of the crew. hate to be that guy but if youre money is on jd at the post be prepared for a quick exit in march

Sunday should be a lot of fun.
Still a lot of tickets available for Sunday on the website. I don't know if it'll be a bigger crowd than the New Year's Day Belmont game or even the Ag Night Murray game.
