Need Massey or Aligbe. I'm assuming Webber is going to redshirt.

4-18 from the arc, and still just down 6.  I do like the driving offense, since that's been pretty successful in this one.  Keep going there.

Moreno is slower than molasses

He doesn't fit with this team at all.  He can play a few minutes at a time at best but he's going to get gassed quickly

Never thought I'd be confident Ebube could out-stamina someone but I'd take his conditioning over Moreno's.

Afraid the zone is gonna be the playbook for how to effectively guard SIU. Can't solve it.

The difference in this game was that COC can shoot the 3 and we could not.  This team has potential for later in the season, but this schedule was too difficult for a new team with new players, coaches, etc.

No. Ebube is actually a good athlete. They didn’t get the best out of him.

Indeed.  We will have nights where Hensley, Steffe and Elliott should well from deep but there aren't enough guys on this team that can shoot consistently.

I’d rather play a good schedule and take some losses than Huckify your way to 20 wins. These guys will be fine.

Depends on if people/the team can handle being 2-4 after the first 6 games, which is likely.

I don't mind playing difficult teams, but NOT to start the season when you're trying to figure out exactly who we are.  Winning is the key, not good losses or, in this case, bad losses.

Excellent point.  Play solid mids as much as you can, even if your team's not ready for them, as a solid effort but loss to Charleston today far outweighs beating a team like Chicago State or Queens by 30.
