Boxing out has been a problem since
Lowery.  I don't understand it.

Feels like it’s the same thing too often. “Almost.” I still feel good about our chances of winning tonight. But the inability to match up with bigger teams takes our defensive advantage and throws it in the trash as we give up rebound after rebound. Have to recruit over Ebube if he’s not ready to play.

Ebube is ready to play.  He was in only for a minute or two and touched the ball once on offense deflecting a bad pass.

If so play him. Getting plastered on the glass.

Ebube's minutes are dead with Hensley playing.  You'll see him in short stints or if guys get in foul trouble.  He'll pretty obviously be in the portal this offseason.  The Illinois Wolves connection is working wonders.

Rupert has a difficult time grasping the ball.

God if Mullins could just find a true 6’9” or 6’10” big to have down low we’d be right on that ncaa border consistently I swear. It seems he’s able to find and coach every other aspect of the game.

Hensley taking anyone's minutes would be a shame.

I think the offense has improved this year but it seems to have taken a toll on the defense.  Everything feels much lazier this year from getting back on D to help defense.

Hensley playing allows for there to be two bigs on the court without sacrificing quickness. Should be interesting to see how often we see him with Clarence or Ebube

Ebube gave SIU 4 points and hits the bench within 2 minutes

He wouldn't have a clue about what to do with such a player.

(Inflammatory political snark)
