Man this team just isn't very good.  Really looks like a 3rd straight underachieving season.

Domask has 30 of SIU's 62 points.  It's truly a one man team right now.

I do think a shakeup of the assistant staff probably wouldn't be a terrible thing. Brendan Mullins has the most coaching experience of all of them but even then his first assistant job was in 2012 and I doubt Bryan's brother challenges him much on anything. It's Mamon's first job as an assistant. Monaghan is a nice recruiter for Wisconsin/Minnesota/Michigan but he only had a few seasons(2 I believe) as an assistant before coming to SIU. It's a pretty inexperienced staff for a first time head coach.

The starters combined for 43 points and Domask had 32 of them

One campus site game. Two different pods of 4 teams that dont intersect and only teams from one of those groups of 4 can play for the championship. Games played at late hours even on west coast time on non-consecutive days. Games played at some random high school 55 miles outside of Los Angeles.

What even is this tournament?

For some reason Rupert has been on the bench while SIU has gotten killed on the boards.  Mullins is really not good at his job and it's becoming more apparent.

I hate to agree with this, but I'm sure as hell not happy with some of his personnel decisions. He has a lot to learn -- if he's not too stubborn to learn it.

I just don’t understand it. SIU clearly looks better when guys like Rupert, Wonders, Ebube and Cade are in the line-up. Seems like a pretty cut and dry case of upper-classman bias by the coaching staff so far.

Troy getting so many minutes at the 5 is even more baffling.

I hope the staff sees what we are seeing sooner rather than later.

Also, the PG spot is still puzzling.

Thankfully we escaped with a win.
