A 5 point deficit might mean this one is over. This team isn't very good...again.
This one is over.
Newton and Johnson have been pretty useless. Sure, the lack of size hurts. But we can’t get our guys to play with confidence on offense.
UNLV has a tough, quick defense. Tough game

dozed off for about 15 minutes and didn't miss a single saluki point.
Ugh
Our subbing/rotations are just terrible. Pitiful. Bad. There’s no other way to paint it. Our two best players are playing way too many minutes, and guys that are giving us very little production continue to get way too much run.
If this is the best we can do, it’s another mediocre season. Yuck.

Just don't see how a team that only has 2 legit scorers is going to compete in the Missouri Valley. They'll win some games just on defense and some random hot shooting but this is the same team they've been for 4 years. And recruiting appears to be poor based on guys sitting.
SIU hasn't scored in 8 minutes

We need to find out if recruiting is bad. I feel like older guys are playing and getting a ton of rope just because they’re older.
Those that are consistently producing very little need to find pine.

SIU has another game in about 22 hours and I don't think Domask has sat once. Jones/Johnson probably played 35+ too.

Drink some coffee. Reese will be there soon!
Domask missing free throws like this screams tired legs.
C’mon Bryan, be better.

Everybody on this team is terrified of the bright lights except two guys, and honestly, it’s tough to blame others when the ball never goes through them late.

This game is such a microcosm of where the program’s at. I don’t feel the need to elaborate because it’s painfully obvious (and 2:15 a.m.).
