I just want to start out by saying. I have been dealing with a lot of mental health issues last couple years and I allowed them to leach into my love of sports. Causing me to be overly critical and overly competitive but mainly just be a real jerk. Mvc and siu basketball are amazing communities to be a part of and I haven’t treated either great the last year or so. Through treatment I’m trying taking care of myself and treat everyone including this great sports community better. I’m truly sorry if I was a jerk to you. On here or on twitter. I’ll keep this from being a book. Just a Loyal alum trying to do better.
No need to worry, we’re all a bit stressed. Things will get better. Go Dawgs!

Let the above serve as a reminder of WHAT IS TRULY IMPORTANT, which is our health, family, etc. No matter how much you are upset over the current state of SIU Basketball, I think we can agree on that.
Nothing but blessings to you Dunkle - I pray that you continue to maintain, and improve, your health and wellbeing.
You’re not REALLY a fan of your favorite team unless you’re a complete ass to someone on the team’s message board and/or social media at least once.
No worries.
@dunkledog sorry to hear of your healtyh issues. I apologize if i came off as crass. i am going thru some health issues in our family also. we are all passionately invested into saluki athletics and always want the best for them. so everyone expresses in different ways. hope you find the treatment that works for you. i know first hand it can be difficult to deal with.
I think everyone on here would be overjoyed to see SIU have a top-notch program again. I personally don't think we're that far away, and I do think you need to get a little lucky sometimes.
If you don't have strong opinions about your alma mater, you're probably not much of an alum IMO. It shows you care at least.
Go Dawgs!
