Not sure I agree that the execution was good in the final 4 minutes. Other than Davis’ big shot and a couple stops, there was more bad than good as the lead dwindled late.

This team has talent, but expectations on execution and energy need to be raised…..A LOT!

Weak fundamental skills in general up and down the bench. Dribbling, passing FT s lack of effort on OB; coach-able basics. Failure to improve in these areas will make for a long season regardless of what system you want to implement.

While viewing this contest, I feel that small increments of improvement are being made.

JH with a double, double. 16 and 11. Massey was close w/ 10 and 8. Dibba with 19, and Davis w/ 11.  Steffe seems to be playing better defense, and Sykes continues to bring a spark off the bench. Aligbe could still be slowed somewhat from ankle injury, or perhaps the freshmen learning curve has evolved? Sharpe has done a admirable job thus far.

A much needed win, and another full week to prepare for the next opponent, Austin Powers Pee. A very long way to go, but I am banking on the experience Nagy and staff have to exponentially improve.

Count yours truly in the "In Nagy, I trusty" camp!

It's going to happen folks. GO DAWGS!!!

And chronic poor interior passing that features serious cases of "dick finger." Cautiously optimistic that with the proper treatment, things can get better in this regard.

March on triumphantly!

How many open 3s they give up: a problem much of the season

Saw this at the CoC game in Sioux Falls. Too many open threes given up; really obvious. Hasn't this been addressed yet?

It was better in yesterday’s game but overall has been spotty more often than not. Doesn’t seem like a huge priority in listening to some of Nagy’s interviews, which I don’t really get as most teams are quite capable of lighting it up.

The North Dakota State game was the most eye-popping, we just got beyond lucky they couldn't hit anything.  NDSU actually has been a good team since that game.  They've won 5 of their last 6.

Small increments of improvement against a bad team doesn't bode well for the future of this years team and looking at the last few years of Nagy at Wright State doesn't do much for me unless he is invigorated by the new job change

NDSU just went into Hinkle Fieldhouse and won.  They've won 5 in a row and are up to #146 in KenPom.

The biggest difference-maker on that team seems to be Jacksen Moni who missed our game against them.
