D'Avanzo should be second in the rotation. Filewich has no business playing right now. Can't play defense. Can't score. And honestly, is his vertical 12 inches? But at least he has alligator arms.
Sorry you can't see his talent. Don't sell this guy short. He has some skills. He and D'Amico are gonna be a nice tandem to watch next year.
I guess I look at it differently. I play the guys that give me the best chance of winning this year. I don't mortgage this year with the hopes that some guy can produce next. If Filewich earns more minutes, then absolutely play him. Right now, he's taking minutes away from more productive players.
I'm not sayin' -- I'm just sayin'!
Hey! Guys! We beat (crushed!) the spread! 🤩 👍 😎
If you're gonna reply to me in the forums, please quote what I wrote that you're replying to so I have a clue...thanks! 😀

Hey, great for you. How much did you win? I personally don't wager.

Since the Alcorn State game, 2 good starts out of the gate. I know Southern Miss kept it close early but thought SIU was playing good defense and they hit some tough shots.

I don't bet on sports (or anything, really, save for the occasional poker hand). But the spread was the same for the E'ville game and we know how that went... 😉

This post didn't age well. 🤣
Truly a team effort tonight, to be boring and cliche. Unselfish play, good D and a nice mix on offense. A bit of momentum, hopefully, and I wouldn’t be surprised if Brown returns at Tulsa.
@siudawgs Is this a hunch or do you know something?

Just reading between the lines of various comments (including Mullins’ pregame interview tonight) and considering they have a week until the Tulsa game.
Even if Filewich padded his numbers in garbage time as some believe it is good for confidence building for the future he also had some good productive minutes when the game was in the balance and he proved he can dunk😁 and everyone will struggle at times I believe Kyle is coming out of his

Troy D'Amico postgame:
Troy has a knack at being in the right place at the right time. And more often than not, that is a result of innate basketball knowledge vs luck. He's made a couple shots now too, which should help his confidence.
Now THAT is how you finish Kyler !!!! That was nice. Good move and great finish !
I would classify it as a “monster” dunk! He got his money’s worth!

James Madison
Up 9 at the half and Domask with a goose egg? Wouldn't have thunk that.
There has been several games this year where he has had 0 or very few points in the 1st half and puts in his share in the 2nd half. Also I can think of at least 3 games now where Coupet gets most of his points very early in the game and then can't hit in the 2nd half. Maybe now a bad combinationj
With the various injuries and missing players, this team really hasn't played with a defined line up/rotation. So as unusual as this must be, it's probably a blessing in disguise to see more of guys like D'Amico, Coupet, Banks, KF, D'Avonso etc. in unusual lineups.
A great team effort last night and should help down the road if Brown and Harvey come back strong.
March on triumphantly!
