I wonder how much he/she had to drink before posting this.
Great job leaving this up mods. When someone willfully makes an ass of themselves, everyone should be able to see it.
ISU shot the piss outta the ball, especially every time the shot clock was expiring. SIU also played in stretches like a team with no legs (understandably so). These things happen. If that's enough to deter your enthusiasm to that degree, you kinda suck as a fan.
I thought about taking it down but I was curious about the reaction
he is not a bad guy I am almost positive alcohol was involved
Highly suspect. I'd be the first to offer to have a beer with this person, yet at the same time, I'd equally expect to be called on any drunken irrational behavior. 👍

Sure hope unpopular opinions, even drunken ones, do not get censored.

I think I've got this right:
I guess the tie breaker for seeds at the MVC Tourney for teams that have split is the NET rating.
I guess we could be seeded anywhere from 4th to 6th and could play Bradley, InSu, Valpo, or Loyola.
- If we win at MoSt, we will be the 4 seed and have to play the winner of Valpo at InSu, the 5 seed.
- If we lose at MoSt, we will be the 5 seed if INSu beats Valpo.
a) In that case, if Bradley loses to Loyola, they will tie with InSu for 3rd. Bradley and InSu have split,
so we would probably play Bradley (lower NET ranking than InSu), the 4 seed.
b) But if Bradley beats Loyola, they will tie with Loyola for 2nd. We would play InSu, the 4
seed.
- If we lose at MoSt, we will be the 6 seed if Valpo beats InSu, since Valpo would be the 4 or 5 seed and InSu
beat us twice.
We would have to play the 3 seed. If Bradley beats Loyola (they will have split) and if their Net rating
climbs above Loyola's, we would play Loyola, the 3 seed. Bradley is currently 109 and Loyola 98 - not
sure if beating Loyola would jump Bradley's NET enough. If Loyola's Net rating is still higher than
Bradley's, we would play Bradley, the 3 seed.
I decided not 2 go 2 the tournment after the debacle 2nite. cnclled hotel and bookd flight to denver.
Poore coaching at end of season. maybe next yr.
I'll be happy if Bryan Mullins and staff are around for a long time. "Poore" coaching, really?
I thought Poore was a football coach?

My amusement with this is waning. Don’t be stupid
Actually you missed a lot. It had been 10 years almost to the day since I had made the trip to STL. I told my wife in mid-January that we’re going. What used to be a two hour drive is now 800 or so miles away. We flew in on Thursday, and immediately upon entering the Hilton saw old Saluki friends that we had not seen in years. We went out to eat several times with friends (Salukis of course), and our adult children who also just happen to be Salukis. Ate some great meals, saw some great basketball, and most importantly, WE WERE THERE FOR THE TEAM AND THE COACHES! The fact that they lost a hard fought game in which they played there hearts out has absolutely ZERO to do with whether we “missed anything”, which is an extremely selfish and self-centered attitude. It very much is the same as what “being there” means to your spouse, your kids as they grow up, and your good friends. It’s not about you, it’s about them. In other words, you missed a hell of a lot, sucks to be you that you don’t see it that way. Oh, on the flight back to Florida, gal sitting in the seat behind me sees my Saluki shirt, says I’m a Saluki too! Go Dawgs.
