Saw the 3 incoming frosh on campus this morning. All look like they are legit heights/weights, Ebube is a real big boy 🤣
Ebube is built like a locomotive! For years I heard "we need bigs", check that box please.

Great to get these guys on campus in early June for summer workouts, bonding with the rest of the team, etc. I think there's a lot of optimism that this incoming class can help Southern ascend in these next few years and make some overdue noise again in the MVC (and the postseason). Let's hope that is the case, and that it doesn't take too long for them to make their presences felt.

From the Twitter links it appears the Freshmen jersey numbers have been assigned.
#0 jersey number was a question mark in that both Foster Wonders and Troy D'Amico wore that number in High School and Ben Coupet, Jr wore #0 at Little Rock.
It appears from an earlier tweet that Ben Coupet, Jr. will possibly wear #25 for the Dawgs.
#0 - Foster Wonders
#2 - Scottie Ebube
#23 - Troy D'Amico
#0 - Foster Wonders
#2 - Scottie Ebube
#23 - Troy D'Amico
Great compromise! Wonders gets the #0, D'Amico gets Jordan's #23, and Ebube gets my old H.S. Sophomore B team #2! It's humbling to be part of the process.

Looks like their listed HS heights look fairly accurate. Bryan is 6'1", so Wonders does look about 6'5" from the pic. D'Amico looks a couple inches taller than Wonders, so about 6'7", and Ebube looks to be an inch or two taller than D'Amico, so about 6'8" or 6'9". I do not think Ebube looks 6'10". However, he looks pretty strong, especially his legs. He has a big time, D1 ready body! Looking forward to seeing these 3 play. Hoping they have the significant athleticism we sorely need!

And the elder statesman among the newcomers also has made his way to Carbondale. Should be some great summer workouts/scrimmages ahead ...

I've heard all 3 are transferring out after hearing that we scheduled a D2 school for a home game

Didn’t want to start a new thread, but I’m sitting in an airport, and ran across this. Great read (albeit Rolan Roberts was 6-6, not 6-8). Brings back many memories. Good memories. https://www.chicagonow.com/chicago-tough/2012/03/10th-anniversary-siu-defeats-georgia-2002-ncaa-tournament-second-round/
