Man...some of you are never happy.   That was NOT an ugly game.   We played great.   UIC has the best defense in the conference.   We rebounded well and our ball movement was great.   Our defense was outstanding.   Nice to see AJ back.   TB was being dogged all night.   His defense was great! KD and Rupert were good.  Go rewatch the game.  Sure 12 guys didn't play but if they did then you would complain that BM subbed too much and no one could get in the flow.

Don't you have some babies to eat? LOL

@cowboydawg Based on what Trent Brown does in the SIU system, here are the things that have to be replaced when he is on the bench: Offensively, run to the corner and look for a catch/shoot 3. You have no ball-handling responsibility vs. pressure. You do not need to penetrate off the dribble and create. When TB drives he cannot score and defenders do not help off their men. Defensively, you do not have to guard penetrating, attacking point/lead guards. If your man attacks and scores through you, no problem, you stay in the game. I would say that any of the following could do that and MORE: Davis, Ferguson, Miller, Sharp, Stulic, McGee. I understand that TB is a wonderful person, student, and has important intangibles. It is a shame more players do not receive opportunities at that position. Unfortunately, that will not change.

You are 100% correct, but the Bluebird contingent is going to rip anyone with constructive criticism, because this team and the coaching is perfect as is and can not improve, doncha know! LOL

Bulletin! This WAS an ugly game with little offensive flow thanks to good D effort by both teams. At one point in the 2nd half, I just wanted to see anyone score. We got it going a bit at the end - or XJ did - and pulled away, partly because they kept fouling XJ hoping he would miss.

It's a win. On to Belmont, who will almost certainly shoot better than UIC.

Belmont's shooting will be better, but their defense will not. Going from one extreme to the other. Belmont is good offensively and very suspect defensively, while UIC is the opposite. At least Belmont won't have a recent former SIU assistant calling out every play we run.

I’ll just sit back and shake my head at some of these comments….laughing at the lack of common sense some have.

We aren’t perfect and do everything right but the sky isn’t falling either.  My opinion is we are in a better spot than we were last year.  Keep improving and see what we can do tourney time.

200 mins…let’s see the breakdown of what the proper rotation looks like. Most college teams have an 8 man rotation.
