Domask 7-7, 4-4 from 3, 18 points.  Still 1:01 left in the 1st half.

Freeman-Liberty on fire for Valpo though too.

Starrick asked Reis why he woke up Freeman. 😆

Domask 8/8 for 21 - nice!

If you're gonna reply to me in the forums, please quote what I wrote that you're replying to so I have a clue...thanks! 😀

Does anyone know anyone involved in SIU's TV production for the games?  They really need to iris down that rafter cam a bit as the court is always blown out.  I would appreciate anyone who could pass on the info - thanks!

Gonna guess Valpo is gonna double Domask rest of game, need others like Benson and McGill to step up.

when was the last time a Saluki scored 20 in a half?

Probably Desmar Jackson against UNI in the 2013 MVC tournament - had 20 in the first half, but only ended up with 23. However, also had 6 steals and 11 rebounds. SIU cruised, but lost to Indiana St as DJ was almost non-existent next game - exhausted it appeared. I think that was the year Indiana St. won it all.

AB also had some great halfs.

We're in trouble. MD won't keep that up and nobody else is doing squat on the offensive end. We need Davis and Benson to pick it up big time. With that great half, only up by 4.

Desmar was so awesome in that game.  And yeah the Indiana State game was probably the worst game of his Saluki career.  Sad he went out that way because he had an amazing season.

Jones is really going to need to work on his outside shot as teams are already starting to sag off him behind the line.  With his speed, he could be dangerous if he becomes more proficient at hitting the outside shot.

Only negative right now is Benson is struggling and has 3 fouls.  But McGill is stepping up

Benson playing great but gets 3rd foul - hope BM doesn't forget about him on and leave him on the bench too long - one of Lowery's and BBQ's favorite  brain warps.

Davis does not look good on his drives yet Mullins continues to call plays for it.  He has some definite skill but is turnover prone.

McGill sure does miss a lot of layups.   Frustrating.
