Salukis look to bounce back after yesterday. With Loyola next weekend, this game might decide whether they're a 10th place team or not.

the bobber is having a hard time getting fired up for this one.
Need a win to garner some kind of momentum going into Loyola and Arch Madness.

Just wait until this weekend 😐
Another abysmal start on the defensive end to start the game.

As long as they keep it within 10pts and we see some growth from the players of the future (Filewich, Banks, Verpl, Jones, etc), I'll be satisfied. A win doesn't change the fact that this is a Thursday team.

Keep it within 10 to Valpo? Man this season is depressing
REALLY nice start by Jones, I'd like to see him score 30+ tonight.
Love seeing Lance Jones finishing around the rim tonight

I was more trying to communicate that winning tonight, after everything this team has gone through, is not paramount. For the few players that have potential on this team, I am looking for growth, a spark, something. That is more important than winning.

I'm with you there. Last Wednesday's Missouri State game was even more depressing because I didn't see much progress being made. So far, I'm liking what I'm seeing out of Jones, Banks, Filewich.
I like the ball movement so far in this one. 4 assists from Ben Harvey.
Lot of game left but these are the games I can get behind. Jones has 8 points, Dalton Banks is maybe the best player on the floor right now with 3 rebounds and 2 steals. Ben Harvey has 5 assists (!) so far. Filewich 6 points on 3-3 shooting.
Now I'm getting flashbacks of yesterday. SIU is getting stops but can't extend the lead. And both teams are dead cold.
