I see two tired teams out there. Very happy with the play of Jones, Banks and Harvey that half. Now let's see more of that in half #2.
SIU 30
Valpo 26
Halftime
Both teams went scoreless for a long period at the end of the half. Overall, not a bad half though. Sure looked like this was headed in a bad direction in the first few minutes.
Next year I want to see a starting lineup of Filewich, Muila, and Ebube
Good start to the 2nd half
I'm letting Lance Jones win or lose you this game down the stretch. He's been good today.
No fouls on Southern at the under 8?
Yeah both these teams look exhausted. Really ugly basketball this half. Props to SIU though, they've given a good effort tonight.
I expect Filewich will work on his explosiveness during the off season. I have noticed at least 5 baskets in the last few weeks that should have been dunks but have ended up being missed shots. Considering the hard work he has been putting in DURING the season, I have no doubts he will add that to part of his game next year.

Free throw shooting is killing SIU down the stretch, this is where you could really use Domask.
Make your FT's you win this game, miss them and Valpo has a chance to break some hearts. I'm betting on the Dawgs winning this now.
Brown with a quiet, yet critical, steal to seal the game.
I swear if we blow this....
Cheese and peas, guys.

Love Lance Jones knocking down 3/4 free throws to nearly seal this one away. He's come a long way from last season where he was shooting like Filewich at the line for awhile.
