We're an OK team, top 100. A good team would be 7-1 or 6-2 with no blowout losses. Not having Fletcher was probably a factor, so it's possible that we're better than I think.

Tomorrow night will tell a lot; we have (knock on wood) no injuries to speak of, so no excuses.

(Inflammatory political snark)

I'm less than impressed. Hinson's offense is junk and good teams expose that.

The league appears to be way down this year, so we should finish near the top.

Hinson hasn't stumbled in to a tournament title in 15 years. Even if he manages this year we will pull a 14 seed and it's one and done.

The comment about his offense is spot on. That’s shat they ran in the 90s

I give the Dawgs a straight C grade at this point almost entirely because of the clown show that was the UMASS game. The team quit before tip off even happened, but if that was the wake up call we needed then so be it.

As others have said the rest of the non-con will be very telling: beat SLU, Murray, and that tells me we have very good shot at a conference title. Add a win at Buffalo to that list, and now I'm expecting a conference title.  If we see another UMASS debacle I'd probably pull a John Paxson and fire Hinson on the spot.

Seems like we have experienced players that are playing hard. Rebounding is not good, and I think keeps us from being a really good team. Even though Pippen has offensive finesse and Bol has height, they both don’t jump well or manhandle opposition to get to the rebound. Everyone else, including Fletch, sits on the perimeter most the time.

Still too much commotion offense. Who is the go to guy to drive the ball when the clock ticks down? Can’t be launching desperation 3’s all day...
