REALLY nice summary. Thank you VERY much for taking the time to put this together. It looks like Belmont might have a slight advantage on paper with the remaining schedule, but as we hold the tiebreaker with them, we have a slight edge there. Regardless, I believe it will likely come down to whether or not SIU can win both home games against Bradley and UNI which will be VERY difficult. That being said, as others have stated, the ball is in SIU's court.
Important thing here is that on February 5, with 6 games to go, SIU still controls their own destiny. Great place to be!
I'm only concerned about us winning the league. However, don't count out the Trees. They have a really soft schedule. It should be an interesting stretch run.
Get your tickets now for the Bradley game if you don't have them yet. Make the road trip if you aren't local. That one should be one hell of a college basketball atmosphere as long as we take care of business in the next three. We need a sellout for what should be a national TV game.

I think the Bradley game should rival the Missouri State Domask buzzer beater game from a few years ago in terms of atmosphere. Although it might be another afternoon Sunday game so that might suck some energy out of it.
I know we're still two weeks out but I checked the ticket web site, there are BOATLOADS of tickets left.
Plus, we have UIC to worry about next. One game at a time. 😀

Sunday at 1:00 like today. Atmosphere was good today. Hopefully it can be that day too.

Think it might end up being a 2:00 game. Was supposed to be announced by today (they say 14 days before on the SIU site) but no announcement yet. Guessing it'll be announced tomorrow and they were waiting to see if SIU won tonight. It'll either be Drake/Belmont or SIU/Bradley for the ESPN2/U TV game and ESPN2 just had Drake/Belmont last week and has Drake/SIU this weekend on ESPNU. Guessing they don't go Drake 3 weeks in a row.

Fair enough. I would definitely prefer a 2:00 start myself. I think we will fill it!
We don't know what time the Bradley game is yet Do we? I just checked the web site and it's still TBA. I know ESPN is supposed to give us 14 days notice so we should find out in the next day or so.
One thing, though. Someone has to work on getting the Dawg Pound out on that Sunday. It was a small group there this afternoon. They did a good job but we need probably 4 times as many of them there.

@rafflaw and I will be there - coming from Atlanta and Chicago
69 and I both plan on attending
Mrs. Loon and I will be in the house. It was a great crowd yesterday except for low Dawg Pound. The few that were there did a helluva job. Hopefully that gets better for hated BU. During that late second half run, if Jones had made that super long 3, it would have blown the roof off of Banterena.
I for one, LMAO when the big head Barry made his appearance. the Mrs. asked why they had a big head of he whose name is not spoken, and I said, remember, he used to coach for SWMS/MOST too. I think they were mocking MOST and SIU a bit. No doubt it is scary and seemed to work at helping MOST miss free throws. 🤣
March on triumphantly!
We are gonna hang out Saturday night if anybody wants to meet for drinks. As soon as 69 sends me the name of the place I will let you know
Buckwater is the name of the place. We will be there Saturday night after dinner at Pags 😊
