Totally agree I also have season tickets and have had them for a long time. I also give a monetary donation above what is required but I want to win. I love the fact that our new AD is trying to build a fan base and get people in the building.  We as fans and donors have to understand for the athletic department to succeed it has to have money and that takes donations and season ticket holders. Consider it a donation and part of the rebuilding process. Also I don't want to sit in the cheap seats 😎 Go Dawgs

Don't get me wrong I love when the arena is filled... There were 11 dollar lower bowl seats plus 7 free bucks to concession against UIC.  I am good with them trying to fill the arean, but I also am not that wealthy, it is a big commitment for me to be a season ticket holder, which I love... Anyway, maybe I just feel like this season ticket holder who sat through the worst of times and cheered as hard as I could for single digit win teams maybe deserves a perk or two.

Road games are always tough, and outside of Bradley this next one at Drake will arguably be the hardest to pull off, but a few things to keep in mind:

  1. We've beaten them already.
  2. Drake averages 75 points per game, and we held them to 49 points.
  3. Defense travels, and we've seen that this team is in just about every game they've played, win or loss.
  4. This game is literally to keep a hold on first place; I expect our guys, and especially our seniors, will be ready.

Counterpoint, their 10th year seniors will also be ready.

Not sure what the right answer is I do see your point  and it is awesome that you have been a fan for so long.  Maybe the AD can come up with some perks for longtime suffering season ticket holders 🤔

I would be willing to bet a handsome sum that the most vocal critics on this board have not contributed enough money to the basketball program to wad a shotgun.

You have absolutely zero evidence for that.

You are correct. One only bets when there is an uncertain outcome.

Also, what does amount have to do with anything? As I stated earlier, I don't have enough to give enough to make a huge difference... But I sure as hell give what I can.

Seems to me like it's going to come down to SIU and Belmont.  Indiana State is playing great basketball again and have an easy schedule.

Luckily, SIU holds the tiebreakers over Belmont.
