Sam Houston has some speed, but I think SDSU's D will be the best one they've faced this year. Still shocked that they came back from 24 - 3 deficit to beat James Madison.
Tough break for the Jackrabbits losing their starting QB early in the 1st quarter. Still made a game of it. Final Sam Houston 23 SDSU 21. Winning TD scored with less than 30 seconds left in the game.

Would have been nice to get another MVFC champion but damn would it have felt awful if they won a title knowing we should have beat them.
I think SDSU wins easily if their mvfc-mvp QB doesn't go down on the 1st drive of the game. Their backup QB played very poorly and they still almost won. Sam Houston State was able to basically sell out against the run and SDSU still rushed for way more yards than any other team Sam Houston played this year. SDSU had no air attack due to the injury. Tough break.

Absolutely agree - bad break for the Jacks. That backup QB was awful. SDSU wasn't going to stop Sam from scoring, but I think they would have scored a lot more themselves.
How about that long TD run by Davis to take the lead?? Almost won the game without a QB.
