Metamora upsets Simeon in OT in 3A. 46 - 42 Simeon coach is retiring and was looking for his 8th championship. Metamora finished runner-up last year to Springfield Sacred-Heart Griffin. Metamora started the season 2 -2, then ran off 32 straight wins.
In 4A, Moline pounds Lisle Benet 59 - 42.
2A, DePaul College Prep whipped Bloomington Central Catholic 65 - 41 in the Pope Bowl.
1A, Waterloo Gibault Catholic beats Scales Mound 65 - 45.
