Norse staying in this. Houston might not make it past Auburn in Birmingham without Sasser.
Northern Kentucky plays with a ton of confidence and a ton of energy. They can make erratic decisions but man they are getting to Houston with these traps all over the floor.
Houston pulling away now but still good showing from the Norse
It is a shame that Northern Kentucky took so many dumb shots that second half.
Craving a McBride Special!
Kennesaw State was 1-28 in 2019-20 in Amir Abdur-Rahim's first year. They're currently up double digits on #3 Xavier in the 2nd half.
Xavier wins with a big 2nd half. Kennesaw St got kind of hosed by the refs it felt like.
im on pace to be inebriated enough to root for drake and puke if they win. takes a lot of tequila to warm my heart for i hate them with all of my soul. but i guess i hope they win

I saw the emotional post game speech by their Coach and was moved. He was able to take over the team and only won 1 game that first year, but improved EACH year to win 26 this season. Now that is how you build a team.
Iowa State is maybe having the worst NCAA Tournament performance ever. They're barely shooting 20%
Fairleigh Dickinson up 2 on Purdue with 7:50 left
Drake leads Miami 30-25 at half. Didn't think Drake played their best basketball and come out of it up 5
Purdue is going to lose in the first round. And their guards were incredibly weak.
Drake could go far if Conor Enright keeps playing like this

So in summary Purdue just lost to a team that is:
\- Ranked Above 300 in Kenpom the whole year
\- Didn't win their conference tournament
\- Didn't win their conference regular season title either
\- is in the NEC which ranks 32/32 for D1 conferences in the country in kenpom
\- Went 4-22 Last year
\- A first year coach that transitioned from D2
\- Average height of players is 6'3"
\- Ranked 359 in Defense in Kenpom
EDIT: They got into the tournament because they made it to their Conference finals as their opponent (Merrimack) was not eligible to make the NCAAT because of the 4 year transition period rule. They also finished Runner-up in their conference during the regular season.
Saluki Insider? I barely know her!
FDU might seriously be the worst team in the Tournament ever. They were 4 point underdogs to a 14-20 Texas Southern team the other night.
i don’t know if it has come up anywhere but what happens to the nit if the main tournament has that big expansion? does the NCAA kill it? make it smaller?
