That sounds like a bit of sweeping under the carpet from the Aggies athletic department. Some more dirt from ESPN and that shooting said that an assistant and an "unnamed NMSU administrator" hid evidence related to the shoooting that took place where a player killed another student in "self-defence."
An assistant coach had the gun, the special assistant to the coach had the kids tablet and the unnamed administrator had the phone. This does not look good for them.

My post was a bit disjointed there. Was having some weirdness posting last night. I remember when that happened and I thought back then NMSU was in deep doo-doo. I was trying to say they are using the hazing situation to sweep the more serious issue under the rug. They are probably trying to get ahead of when the NCAA's infractions and enforcement division come down on them like TEN tons of bricks. All of this could make the SMU or Penn St. incident look like a kindergarten cupcake party. 😁

I find it interesting that there hasn't been a peep out of Mario. The board issued a statement, the chancellor issued a statement and the university spokesman issued a statement. Nothing from the department. Granted, he was probably told to keep his mouth shut, but I still find it a little strange.
