Even though UIC agreed to the rules beforehand, don't think the athletes should be punished. Take their winnings, do whatever you want to the school but the kids should be able to compete.
Doyle is over the top here and too emotional.
Settle down.
UIC could wait a year though.
Or don't pay the exit fee.
Can't blame them for getting out of that league as quickly as possible. They weren't exactly honest about the "no conf. tournament" snafu, though.
The Horizon is getting a lot of bad press on the Chicago news and on ESPN 1000. Specifically from Mark "Silver" Silverman (SIU Alumni). I agree the student athletes shouldn't get punished due to UIC's move.
