Brock and now Gibson. RIP
Eddie Van Halen dead at 65
Fucking cancer. Rip Eddie
I mean, assuming it was cancer.
It's incredibly unlikely cancer didn't at least contribute to it, though.
And even if he wasn't killed by cancer, I agree, f cancer.
Saw Eddie on a talk show a couple of years ago. Funny, interesting guy. Got some of the most interesting, awesome sounds ever out of an electric guitar. Had been battling throat cancer for years.. Way too young to die.

In 1977, my girlfriend and I were in San Fran for a few weeks. Decided to go to a Giants game at the old Candlestick Park on the Bay. Walked up at game time and got great seats behind home plate. (Giants tickets not in great demand.) I think it was Willie McCovey day or something like that. If I remember right, Willie had a hit that won the game against the Reds. After the game, heading north towards Tiburon on the 101, we were passed by a white Corvette convertible hauling a s s! Joe Morgan!!! RIP Joe. (I think he was from the Bay area.)
Billy Tubbs has passed
