Mike Mills, the champion pitmaster, founder, and legend behind the great 17th Street Barbeque restaurants has passed away.
Condolences to the Mills' family, their friends the staff and pit crew at 17th Street and his other restaurants!
Mike Mills deserves a mention here too - he was a recognized BBQ expert.

Former Dodgers manager Tommy Lasorda died last night at the age of 93.
He was older than dirt when I was a kid. Those first 50 years weren't kind to him but that must have got better those last 43 years.
It boggles my mind how a person can live that long. I won't make it to 65 and still have original knees and hips and will be taking celebrix like it is popcorn.
