I don't know, but it's likely on a two year roll. We will FOIA the contract if there is no movement.
Regardless of two improbable MVC tournament wins, the 2019 regular season record (5-16 in conference) along with the unsuccessful past 8 years under Hendu means a move has to be made. Coach Kill should be dialing the phone already.

do the baseball alums ever get together to try to influence change.
Absolutely. The alums are as disappointed as anyone that we have not been to the NCAAs in 29 years. Unbelievable that 1990 was the last year that we got a bid. And we have expressed our thoughts on the situation many times.
3 NCAA appearances in almost 40 years (none since 1990). I didn't know we have been that bad historically of a baseball program. Hope Kill can find a new coach and get us over the hump and be a respectable program.
On the other hand our tennis team went undefeated.

Congrats to Indiana State and Mitch Hannahs. They proved it is possible for a historical MVC baseball to find their way again after a long spell in the wilderness. This is all in a shorter time than the current SIU coaching staff has been in place, I may add.
Before anyone points out that the Sycs did this as a fluke in the tourney, the Sycs have an RPI of 24, with 41 regular season wins.
I also would like to see DBU and Illinois State get at large bids.
Tick-tock Killer. Time for some action. Three Valley teams in the NCAA. We haven't been in nearly 30 years. Only spring sport not in an NCAA tournament. No more excuses Jerry.
Craving a McBride Special!
If we are going to make a coaching move, it needs to be done soon. Candidates are out there and the further into the post season we get, the fewer there will be. This NCAA drought has to end and the only possible way is a change at the top....now.

Historically? 14 NCAA appearances (last in 1990), 5 College World Series appearances (2nd twice), 7 MVC titles.
The good years were long ago of course.

DBU and ISU 2 seeds, Red Turds 3 seed. ISU plays McNeese, DBU plays Florida, RTSU plays Indiana (Big 10 champs).
Ohio St upset the Big 10 tournament so they stole a spot (RPI 126) - 4 Big 10 teams get at-larges. Illinois a 2 seed, plays Clemson. Former Saluki Dan Hartlieb has done a good job up there.
losing hope here. guessing we are stuck with this mess. not a good look jerry
I know they are not in the Valley any more, but Wichita State Just hired Eric Wedge as their head coach to get their program back on track. Managed many years in the big leagues and played on WSU CWS championship team. If there was ever a program that needs to get back on track, it is ours. Let’s do what needs to be done for the good of Saluki Baseball.
