Surprised there wasn't a thread on this yet; it's gaining steam on social media and is a complete disgrace to the university. This kid needs to be launched, yesterday. This incident will give the university more bad PR than anything the program could do on the field, and shows why recruiting high-character kids isn't just a buzzword.
SIU and SIU Athletics have put out official statements, the typical we don't condemn this stuff statement & its not a reflection of SIU....also pointed out this guy graduated. Not sure there is much we can do about it.

Your best bet is to expose this over and over so his future friends and employers know who they are dealing with. SIU would lose a ton of money trying to strip a degree over social stuff.
