Kamren Martin is a 6'4" PG who can score at all 3 levels, can distribute the ball AND, importantly for this staff, play some tough defense. He is near the top of my list for 2024 at this point. Let's go !!!!
Ive read a lot of good things about him, but from what i can tell, we are his first DI offer, which if he is as good as it seems, is sort of puzzling.Kamren Martin is a 6'4" PG who can score at all 3 levels, can distribute the ball AND, importantly for this staff, play some tough defense. The video on Kamren is great. I also like his size and defense

Under the radar recruit. Blue Ridge is a small all male boarding school. 195 students.

6'2 3* PG Marietta, GA. #1 ranked 2024 PG in Georgia.
Looks like the NW Hazing media blitz is not affecting their Basketball Recruiting.
Another one-time Saluki ‘24 target to Northwestern: Angelo Ciaravino, an Illinois Wolves kid from Mt. Carmel.
If the rumblings from several months back are true that Mullins isn't on the most secure footing going forward, it feels like it might be especially important to sign a couple promising recruits this fall.
Let's say SIU outperforms expectations to an extent this season (they'll be picked lower-half in the MVC), and some of the underclassmen/newcomers flash potential, but SIU still falls well short of the postseason. What then? If it's a borderline judgment call, it seems like having a strong recruiting class signed, with evidence that the Jerrance Howard hire is paying off, could be a significant factor.
Personally, I would retain Mullins regardless if the arrow seems pointed up with this group after this year because I don't think it's reasonable to expect postseason in what shapes up as a transition year, and I don't know how valid the previous rumors were/are, but just throwing this out there for consideration.
