@resaluki-88 completely agree. very few pure point guards have played at SIU over the past 16 years during the post season absence. I think like you we need two on every team. Although going to 15 scholarships is gonna make it even harder.

A 6-7 guard who shoots 41.8% from 3-point range ... very intriguing.
On a side note, I see that Kash Polk, the forward out of Texas, committed to Arizona State last week. Score one for Jerrance Howard.
Holy crap we actually are trying to recruit a kid from John A!
I didn't want to start a 2028 recruiting page so I'm adding this here. Drew Steffe's brother Dylan who is a freshman in Frisco Texas, class of 2028 was offered by Cal. It's his first D1 offer. Pretty good offer 4 years out!

5'11 Point Guard from NAIA
Looks like he has been out with an injury since November. Big time leaper at 5'11". Also, very shifty at the point. More of a scoring PG. Played first 2 years at D1 Western Michigan where he saw a decent amount of playing time off the bench. Injury prone in his career. Looks pretty good from the videos but that doesn't always tell the story. Says he would have 2 years left. We desperately need a good PG. On the surface looks like it would be a good get as he could step in and run the point right away either as a starter or off the bench.https://twitter.com/PDTScouting/status/1896640387101729272
5'11 Point Guard from NAIA
3.5 PPG, 55 A/47 TO before transferring down to NAIA on top of injury issues.
No fucking thank you.
Those are basically true freshman numbers as he got injured his sophomore season. You would be the last person whose analysis I would consider. In fact, the fact that you don't like him increases my admiration for him.3.5 PPG, 55 A/47 TO before transferring down to NAIA on top of injury issues.

Those A/TO stats against NAIA competition aren't good. And how a player scores at that level is irrelevant.
This would be a beyond awful signing and it's embarrassing SIU is even looking at him.
Good kid. Great story. Can't guard anyone at your level.
Looks like John A Logan wing Davius Loury is playing well at Hutchinson. I see Southern has shown interest in him this winter. The Logan drought has to end eventually, right?
He was heavily recruited out of high school. Had some big offers. Must have been a non qualifier. A 6'7" wing that shoots over 40% from three. I know Nagy went to at least one Logan game earlier in the year.Looks like John A Logan wing Davius Loury is playing well at Hutchinson. I see Southern has shown interest in him this winter. John A lost to Connors State yesterday 80-75 but Loury scored 28. 6-9 from 3
