Pretty good pickup with Walsh. I think that means Hero is unlikely at this point. I guess they could play Walsh off ball with his shooting but he’s only 6’2” and right now it looks like Nagy likes length at 2-5.

I don’t know too many truly elite shooters who primarily play point guard, and I’ve not seen Walsh described that way. I doubt that is what he will be asked to do at Southern.

I mean you are right, who knows what we want him to do at this point, but X was a pretty damn good shooter last year. He was just also good at taking people off the dribble.

Luke Walsh was featured on a sports spot today on KSDK-TV in St. Louis with Frank Cusamano interviewing him and his father who is also his coach. There was plenty of video of him doing shooting drills while wearing an SIU Saluki shirt.
If Walsh can work equally, if not harder, on the defensive side of the ball, he has a real shot at being an integral part of the Salukis near future. Lets go !!!
Just saw Nagy and Darreon Reddick giving a recruit and his parents a tour around campus.
Curious who it was. He looked a little older than what I’d expect of a high school junior or senior.
It is Keaton Wagler probably a long shot since he is now getting High major offers.
