I believe that we have gotten a few additions over the past few months that will help our D line, especially the depth. My concern, however is our kicking game. Underwhelming the last few years, and cost us an FCS Playoff win at Idaho last December. We have very young players at this critical position. ( lack of experience )
Certainly hope they prove me wrong.

If memory serves me, that was one of Lennon's big issues at times - not having a great kicking game. Kill had Craig Coffin for years and he was outstanding. A great punter is a huge weapon! Be great to have a Tom Striegel again.
Such an important part of a team and a big boost for winning football.
I believe special teams as a whole have diminished a bit since coach Poore retired

If somewhat difficult to locate information on high school recruits/commits, I find MaxPreps to be helpful.
This player may be considered an athlete type more than an designated position player. When looking at the Collinsville MaxPreps page, I noticed highlights of said player playing QB/RB and CB. Not real big, but quick and explosive.
Keeping local kids is always a positive endeavor.
