Evansville desperately needed a full reboot.  Hopefully a full recruiting period gets them some pieces

@resaluki-88 Didn't realize Mast was in the portal - says he wants to play better competition. Bradley should be hurting next year.

I found an interesting post over on Redbirdfan.net (forgive me), but someone broke down all Valley transfers and put the names into a table view so you can see a big-picture view of portal transfers for the entire league.

In short, 9 of the 12 schools have players departing for the portal, and there are just 3 that have not lost a single player yet:

  • UNI
  • Indiana State
  • SIU

I realize it's super early in the portal season, and this could all change in the next five minutes, but it's still pretty eye-opening.

With Indiana State's departures that leaves just two programs that have not had anyone leave for the portal:

  • UNI
  • SIU

I think UNI will be the MVC pre-season favorite next year. They should be good. Born was just a Jr.

Every season Bradly loses players and I see predictions they will be bad, yet EVERY year in the Mullins era they have finished ahead of us in the standings.  Perhaps its time to stop ripping on Bradley and start looking at our own house???

You have never explained, and I am genuinely curious, why you hate Bradley so much?  I'm from Chicago-area originally so I don't really feel any connection of dislike to other Valley teams except perhaps Illinois State, but that was based more on a girl.  LOL

Took my dad to a game in Peoria in 2008. It what would end up being the last SIU I got to take him to. For most of the game were pelted with ice sitting in the SIU section. Screamed at to the point the police actual took one of their fans away. Worst experience at any sporting event in my life.

As for ILSU

Throwing water bottles and chanting coach seizure is a good enough reason for me.

Bradley fans are the worst. I have had multiple bad experiences with Bradley fans over the years.  That Illinois State football game you are referencing shows how bad Illinois State fans can be. That was about as classless and dangerous a display as you could imagine. Maybe it's a central Illinois thing...

Thanks for sharing, I understand now.  Impressed that you kept your cool and didn't beat the snot out of someone.

All I know about Gargoyle U. is they think they are far superior to SIU academically and every other way. They aren't.

Redturd State is far worse IMO.
