Not really... There are organizations in all sports that move in total silence though and the staff seems to be one of them. The transfers we have got in the past couple years have kind of just popped up. Hopefully we get some good news soon on a coach and players but there are still lots of unsigned HS kids and 1300 kids in the portal and more and more enter every day. dominoes going to keep falling.Any other rumblings! Yea,if I remember right Rupert just "popped up". I don't think he was listed on portal transfers we "showed interest in" last year. Their were around 45 players. Anything can happen.

Is anybody in favor of recruiting Stacker and Nelson again ? We offered and wanted them when they were Seniors in HS. Just wondering what other thought, we have 5 open scholarships.
I'd probably pass on Nelson, although I did watch the Valpo / Drake OT game at Valpo where he went 6/9 from three - that was really impressive, especially as a freshman.
I would be in favor of getting Ben Krikke though.

I think Stacker should be a target. Didn’t play much last year but 3 stars out of St. Louis.

I'm sure we'll get some transfers, but there's is little chance we'll be very good next year I'm afraid. Wonders is a big loss. I would have much preferred his minutes to Newton's this year, even with some defensive lapses. We needed scoring and outside shooting. (Newton's younger brother BTW was a star for UConn)
One thing for sure, the offense is going to have to be much more big-man oriented.

I’m a member, so I’ll hook you guys up. So far a moderator said there will be a grad transfer visitor this weekend, and then someone said they heard it’s Lance, and that the visit is tomorrow.
I’d be happy for Lance and, as both an SIU and Purdue alum, excited if it played out like that.
