Lance to Purdue would be interesting. He can flat out play some D so that travels anywhere.  Probably would be a spark off the bench for the Boilermakers.

I would love to see Painter's face the first time Lance launches a 40 footer in a tie game.

I'm not sayin' -- I'm just sayin'!

🤣

He might shoot better than 28% from beyond the arc next year if he takes about 3 big steps closer to the three point line.

Loyer for Purdue shot the three as poorly as Lance.

Not as good of a defensive player and about half as quick as Lance.

Lance has exactly the quickness the lack of which kills Purdue every year in the NCAA. Guarantee you Painter would not allow him to shoot nearly as much as he did for SIU. Painter also runs his offense around a big center. Lance might be a very good fit for them.

I actually think Illinois is a poor fit for Domask. Too helter skelter. Wisconsin would be a great fit for him in my opinion. I also think Greg Gard is a better coach than Underwood.

It would be a really poor look if Lance suddenly starts attacking the basket or has a good season in the Big Ten.

In terms of Domask and Illinois, Underwood coached Thomas Walkup at Stephen F Austin and they're sort of similar players, I'm sure that's the selling point there.

@salukiworld And if Marcus played for UW his parents would probably see a lot of his games.

I really don't think Underwood's that great a coach. He does less with more talent.

Wisconsin is going to be very good next year ... that center of theirs is a beast. They had a lot of injuries. If you saw the Bradley game, Wisconsin just embarrassed them, which I know Barkeep felt very badly about!! 😢

Braun from Belmont already committed to Iowa. If Jones and Domask go to the Big 10 the Big 10 may have more 2023 MVC players in 2024 than the MVC!!!!!

@salukiworld I would love to see Matt's face when Lance is going 500mph, head down, 1 on 3 and runs over someone

I only have SIU connected to 21 players right now and they still need a 3rd assistant coach.

Some of my top options:

1) Marquise Kennedy 6-1 Grad Senior Guard from Loyola Chicago (7.5 PPG, 3.2 RPG, 1.5 APG former Illinois Wolves AAU)

2. Justin Harmon 6-4 Junior Guard from Utah Valley (14 PPG, 3.8 RPG, 2.9 APG but has an Illini offer)

3) Landon Moore 6-3 Freshman Guard from St. Francis PA (13.1 PPG, 2.8 RPG, 3.6 APG, former Illinois Wolves AAU but we might be out on him.  Conor Enright from Drake was recruiting him on Twitter)

4) Kareem Thompson 6-5 Grad Senior Guard from Oral Roberts (8.5 PPG, 5.7 RPG, 3.0 APG, 39% from 3)

5) Jason Jitoboh 6-11 Senior Center from Florida (3.1 PPG, 1.5 RPG, 0.7 APG)

6) Jamel King 6-7 Sophomore Forward from West Virginia (1.5 PPG, 0.6 RPG, 0.3 APG)

7) Mason Walters 6-9 Grad Senior Forward from NAIA Jamestown (26.6 PPG, 9.4 RPG, 3.1 APG)

I'd add Wilcox. Good size and solid 3pt shooter. Coupet lite maybe?
