I will never quit following and pulling for the Dawgs, but Ive actually lost most interest in the Dance. The media should post for each team in it, the number of transfers getting minutes and the dollar value of their NILs.
The system is rigged by the NCAA to guarantee the big money schools as much revenue as possible.category
Mids should drop out of the Dance division, create a basketball category like the non-bowl football we currently have.

Didn't Saint Peters make the elite 8 literally last year?
I'm really hoping Caitlin Clark of Iowa enters the portal and ends up on the Salukis (men's team)!! 🙂
So we’re blaming the kids getting paid and not pointing to the separation of rich and poor as the true issue?
Sounds about right for some of you.
Big loss for UIC...and of course not good for The Valley as a whole. The transfer portal and NIL are just ridiculous. It's going to create more divides in college athletics. I'm ready for the mid-majors to start doing their own thing and pull out of the NCAA Tournament. I get it, money talks, but it's ridiculous when the mids can't typically get home and home series with power 5 schools which puts them at HUGE disadvantage when trying to make the tournament.
Who is going to fund a league of mid majors? No tournament money, and quite a few can’t even get good crowds. If you take away NCAA distributions, all kinds of programs become money losers. Also, what recruit wants to join a school with no shot at March Madness? This makes no sense.
You’re basically describing FCS football.
Yes, good point. I hadn’t thought of that. Now my next question for that point… Aside from us die hard fans for our schools, who gives a crap about FCS football? Basically nobody…
Anything on any of our players?
I think the portal officially opens tomorrow but our players are on Spring Break. I don't know if we'll hear anything until next week
I just moved to Des Moines 6 weeks ago, was not familiar with Clark. She’s been toast of the town, very good!I'm really hoping Caitlin Clark of Iowa enters the portal and ends up on the Salukis (men's team)!! 🙂
Latest entry into the portal: Skyy Clark of Illinois.

Junior that averaged 7 PPG, 5.3 RPG for Belmont. He's from Des Moines, wouldn't be shocked if Drake had interest.
Notre Dame guard JJ Starling is headed elsewhere.
I think we'll know more in the next 10 days. And oh yea, what happens when coaches get fired or accept better opportunities elsewhere?

Junior Center -7'0". Had a double-double (11 pts, 11 reb) vs. Salukis in the SoCal Challenge.
I made a Transfer Portal Google Sheets for the Valley:

Not the prettiest but at least it'll be a good way of tracking who is coming in and leaving
