Just guessing at this, but it seems like this kids camp is trying to pique recruiting interest. I'd be surprised if Beane commits to SIU early, even with family members associated with the program. If one of those other schools listed throws a legit offer on the table for him, he's not coming here.
It all may be moot a year from now anyway. We'll see.
