This seems to have gone under the radar but could potentially be a big deal in the future. An NCAA working group is proposing that D1 athletes in all sports be given a one-year free pass to transfer and not lose any eligibility. The proposal was given to the NCAA Division 1 Council which could vote in April to implement the proposal for the 2020-21 academic year. All athletes could transfer one time without sitting out a year. This could really open up the floodgates of transfers. The year Barret Benson transferred to SIU, there were 998 D1 basketball transfers, according to Verbal Commits. Of those, 2/3 had to sit out a year.
The rich and greedy bigs are doing all they can to destroy college basketball for their own short term gain.

You're not wrong, '69. Coach K was crying in his beer a while ago about grad transfers, the "G" league, one-and-done, and especially that the ACC may "only" get 3 NCAA bids and lose all that $!

The blue bloods crying, how pathetic is that?
It does make me laugh though.
March on triumphantly!
