Looks like we are 1-18 in sets this year against the remaining remaining Valley schedule.
Craving a McBride Special!
Our best player has decided to transfer out of the program according to Hefferman. Not a good sign for a team trying to avoid its worst season in school history.
Wow. That's a killer. She was the one really bright spot on the team. She'll get picked up by someone in a hurry. She hadn't played since October 13. Wonder what happened there - if that had anything to do with it.
We get Ind. St and Drake at home this weekend - two weakest teams other than us. Maybe a win against Evansville?
3-0 loss at Drake. SIU now 5-23.
Kill can't possibly be thinking it's a good idea to bring this coach back.

Certainly this season is nothing to be proud of - seems like this team quits at times. I thought sure they'd beat Evansville here - the other really bad team in the MVC, but they weren't even competitive.
The coach'll get her remaining contract year probably (has one more year I believe.) This is a very young team, but losing your best player (who has two more years) is disturbing. They've already removed Nedoma from the roster, which is weird - I have to think she was kicked off the team or just quit. After 10/13 she never played.
10/19: "The Salukis were playing without their top hitter, Maggie Nedoma, who did not play in the match but has led SIU in kills in 18 matches this season."
Swept by UNI on Saturday. SIU now 5-24.
Swept by Loyola. Now 5-25. Worst Valley season in school history.
Valpo wins in four. Salukis finish 1-17 in the MVC...the worst in school history. 5-26 overall.
Already time to make a change.
Hope Greg Cook greenlights Kill to fire this loser.

Not good......just not good.
Terrible coach pitiful hire 😢
Coach Thompson contract run through the shredder....

That is a good start she was beyond bad. I hope Kill finds a good one.
I am shocked but very pleased. Outstanding move.
UIC (coached by Justin Ingram) was 17-13 last year and 18-13 this year. Lost to Green Bay in the conference tournament both years.
