They had an article on the men's win right away. I saw a bit of this game and we looked really good. I was impressed. Silvey and Brockmeyer are both all-conference players IMO. Along with Nicole Martin of course. Lot of other good players on this team too. We were picked 5th in the MVC. I don't believe it. Way better than that I think.

Lost at ooeeepooee today. Had tied it with 1.6 secs left. Really bad D on the last play allowed them to get a layup to win. Didn't play great D the whole game . Often played out of control on offense. IUPUI is a good team though - picked to win the Horizon League.
Makenzie Silvey had 17, but the refs must have called travelling on her 5 times, 2 of which May have been travelling. The last call was ref revenge because Silvey had grimaced at a previous, awful travelling call. Shiit ref there. Very inconsistent. Call a touch foul on one end, ignore a crash at the other end.

Scary sight here at Banterra Center. SLU player down being strapped to a backboard. She's been down over 10 minutes. No EMT's in sight! SLU coach and player parents quite upset at lack of full medical attention.

After about 20 minutes, the poor SLU player was taken out by EMT's. SLU coach was hot about the lack of medical services.
On a high note we beat them 61-53. Kind of an ugly-ish game, SLU plays tight defense. Martin with 18, Silvey with 14.
