Very dissapointed in SIU Athletics today. At the women's game - No pep band, no cheerleaders, no shakers. I would understand that if the men won yesterday no one would be here, but since they lost and this is senior day for the women they should be here. It's not as if St. Louis is across the country.

Really disappointing: I thought we were on the verge of a bid going into this year. I'm as disappointed in the women's team as I am delighted by the men's.
Still, it has to be said: we're in better shape under Stein than we were under Missy. Uh... So there's that? I guess?

With the cancelation of the women's MVC Tourney, it brings a merciful end to a dissapointing season. We probably would have beaten a winless Evansville tonight, but it saves us another beating at the hands of Drake.
