Never mind. Former Saluki Gwen Berry just set a new national record at a meet in Poland. The battle between Saluki throwers continues!
This is quite remarkable. Two Salukis battling out the US record.

She's still young but I don't know if any one is ever going to reach the 2016 world record of Anita Wlodarczyk--82.49 meters (269' 11")
It would take me two throws to get to the women's record.
Advantage DeAnna Price. This weekend, she recaptured the American Hammer Throw record at the USATF meet at Drake. Price heaved the ball 256-3 to win the event.
Price and her coach JC Lambert will get married this fall. SIU better offer their first kid already!
good to know SIU can still be found in bios of track and field athletes.
