Congratulations to Shauniece O'Neal for taking 5th place in the hammer throw at the NCAA West regionals with a throw of 213'5" and earning a spot at the National Championship in Eugene. This is the third consecutive year O'Neal has qualified for the NCAAs and caps off an outdoor season in which she took no less than 5th in 7 meets this season.

More Oregon Trail news: Today Shaunice O'Neal finished 24th in the Hammer Throw prelims at the US Olympic trials. A nice day and good throws but not nearly enough to move on to the final round of qualifying competition.
