If Hill wants to set a standard he needs to set the example.

Never count out a coach who is loyal to his school. Nick is passionate about his program, and brought it back to relevance. Give the kids a break, they put up over 30 points and dealt with awful calls from officials that ultimately decided the game. All the poo pooing is insane.

Hill has a legitimate reason to be angry with the non-player interjection in the game.

Legitimate reason or not it should not have mattered.  You can't place yourself in the situation that those clowns can screw you.  Close to 200 yards in penalties in two weeks.  That rarely leads to good things.

Pretty rare officiated game tonight. I’d cut the penalty yards in half. 3 possibly 4 PI should have been no calls.

As usual, you are right on the money.

I've already canceled ESPN+ until November, just hope the basketball team lives up to expectations this year.  I'll listen to Reis the rest of the year for football.

No doubt they didn’t play well, but most coaches prefer to correct mistakes and win at the same time (which SIU should have done this week). Officials can’t make that call twice, so bad.

I think Indiana St. is the easiest game - they are really bad. Unfortunately we don't play them this year!! Duh!

I think SEMO is probably better than WIU.

I’m sorry but when the kids are much better than they have showed the first two games, why should I give them a break? Cox in the postgame had a very interesting comment about players missing class. If that’s the case that explains a lot as to why the discipline on the field sucks, it’s probably connected to the discipline off the field being garbage as well.

Bad example.  Meatball was loyal.  Not that Nick can be compared to him, just a bad example.

Glossing over it is insane. We were awful last week and not much better this week.

The Oline was  bad. The secondary was  bad with a cherry on top. The pass rush was - what pass rush?

The offense was definitely better 2nd half, but they were real shaky 1st half.

The coaching was bad - couldn't get the right personnel on the field. wasted TOs, some mediocre play calling, managed to lose to a considerably less talented team.

SEMO isn't that good. We have more talent. They just beat us at home. Yes a bad PI call at the end cost us the game, but it should never have been that close.

Oh man.  That's bad news all the way around. It's not indicative of doing it the right way.

Again people, refs didn't lose the game for us. We did that all on our own. Blame them if it makes you feel better.  You seem to be missing the point here in your rose colored glasses.

Honestly I wasn’t even angry about the game compared to when I heard some players were missing classes. Most of our players won’t make it to play on Sunday.  Getting degrees is imperative.
