SIU once again is going to have to take some significant steps forward if they want a shot a post season play this season. Considering the conference, they have plenty of opportunities to make a case for themselves IF they can pull off wins against some listed in the top 25 poll.
Not intending to sound like an elitist but looking at this list it is very disheartening that we can't compete with the likes of Elon College, Kennesaw State, Samford or Stony Brook.
Craving a McBride Special!
Sure there are some good teams on the list, but preseason polls in FCS are usually in tatters by the third week of the season. Dawgs win a few, they'll get some respect.
