@salukiworld It makes one wonder -- why should a program recruit high school athletes? If they don't play immediately, they get mad and enter the transfer portal. Coaches could stay home and watch all22 to decide which transfers to go after. Not wasting their time on players that don't stick around.

The question to ask in these visits is who initiated the visit? Did the school pursue the player to come visit or is the player visiting to try to see if there is any interest or sell themself?
Last year there were players who entered the portal and ended up with no place to go. Some of these overestimated their prospects of moving to what they perceived to be a step up and then found little or no interest and had no where to go at the end.

I like Hartrup and think he looked more healthy towards the end of the season but surprised he’s getting SEC looks. I was much higher on him pre-injury

Somewhat puzzled with this visit. He most certainly had a good season, however, I feel he lacks the speed, and size for the SEC. We shall see.
